Hi Phila,

Thank you for checking out these articles and for the comment! Ecological crises are definitely intertwined with our crises of democracy. It's great to see you highlighting the role of freedom in these issues and using the concept to motivate action. When faced with how challenging this work is, I remind myself that it may be the most meaningful thing one could be doing!

Regards,

I just read most of your most recent articles, starting with the one currently posted on Resilience. I have one up there also.
https://www.resilience.org/stories/2023-04-05/onward-from-minimal-to-maximal-self/ I am pleased to see you linking democracy and the environment. Too many people are into only one or the other. I am an issue and electoral campaign organizer, and my challenge is to motivate people to participate. The problem is the culture, and I write as an organizer and independent philosopher to advance a new world view. I have several articles and a link for a book on my website that includes the essay Freedom: A 21st Century Update. https://philaback.com/2021/03/01/x/ Freedom is a big hook for getting people's attention, but having an impact is still hard. Cheers!
